Black Point Wildlife Drive Black Point Wildlife Drive

Black Point Dr. is a wonderful wildlife experience by car, bike or on foot. It is a seven-mile ride with 11 kiosk stops with information about the various and abundant wildlife. Observers will appreciate the various birds, fish and the occasional alligator that can be seen from the trail.

Black Point Drive is only a few minutes by car from Titusville and is very close to some of the areas best restaurants. Just a few miles east you will see one of east coast's few remaining uninhabited beaches. Looking south from the beach you will be able to see portions of Kennedy Space Center..

Black Point Wildlife Drive If you have already eaten in one of Titusville's outstanding restaurants and would like to get some exercise, visit the Cruickshank Walking Trail. It's a five mile circular walk near an overlook and observation tower. It is located about half way through the drive.
For those who like to plan ahead, stop at the Refuge Visitors Information Center to borrow an audio cassette or CD about the drive. You can play it as you drive though the 7-mile tour.

Black Point Wildlife Drive Black Point Drive is open during day light hours. It's off of State Road 402, and is 1.5 miles east of the A. Max Brewer Causeway, take state road 406 which turns into 402.
The visitors center is 5 miles east of U.S. 1 on State Rd. 402. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
