Any materials concerning the City of Titusville will be turned into the City Clerk as required by the Florida open records laws.

The Mayor shall preside at all meetings of the city council, shall be recognized as head of the city government for all ceremonial purposes and by the governor for purposes of military law, and shall when directed to so by the city council execute all instruments to which the city is a party, unless other wise provided by Charter or by ordinance, but shall have no regular administrative duties. The mayor shall have a vote as a council member on any matters coming before the council.

The Vice-Mayor shall act as mayor during the absence or disability of the mayor. The Vice-Mayor is elected from among the city council at its organizational meeting each year.

All the powers of the city and the determination of all matters of policy shall be invested in council. The city council may by ordinance or resolution prescribe the manner in which any power of said city shall be exercised.
