Titusville Fire and Emergency Services - 1925 Fire Truck Restoration

The Space Coast Antique Club is in the process of refurbishing a 1925 American LaFrance fire engine for Titusville Fire and Emergency Services. The restoration began September 4, 2001 and is moving along at a steady pace.

Funding for the restoration is by donations from the community. Joy Merckson, a local artist painted the fire truck as it looked when new. A raffle for the picture was held to raise funds for the restoration project. Fire Department personnel have held 2 chili cook offs to raise funds for the project. For further information please contact Titusville Fire and Emergency Services department at 321-383-5708 or Lee Dodd at 321-269-3498.
