Billing Change for Titusville Water and Sewer Customers

As part of its continuing efforts to provide the highest quality of service to its customers, the City of Titusville is rolling out an entirely new format for its utility bills.

The new format includes separate mailing and payment envelopes and a detailed billing sheet that describes each service and its respective fee. The new bill style is the result of several years of modifying the billing format from a post card style bill. The new bills provide each customer with a clear breakdown of the services they receive and the respective fees for each of these services. Listed below each type of service, there is a separate line showing consumption costs, fixed monthly charges, taxes, and/or fees. Water, sewer, and solid waste customers will begin receiving the new bills in February.

An added bonus of the new bill format is the ability to include notices with the bills. Since it is mailed in a separate envelope, much like telephone and electric bills, the City will now be able to include notices on various programs such as conservation initiatives or solid waste pick up schedules instead of sending separate mailings.

For additional information regarding the new billing format, the Utility Billing and Collections Division can be reached at (321) 383-5791.

Pursuant to Florida Statutes, all correspondence with the City is an open public record.
