| Locally, you led Titusville's emergency responses for
Hurricanes Charley, Frances and Jeanne, providing guidance and leadership when our
community was impacted. Once you were assured Titusville's recovery was fully in progress,
you accepted additional deployment assignments from the State's EOC leadership to assist
with the devastation on the west coast of Florida from Hurricane Charley and again to
assist with the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan in our state's panhandle region. During the month and a half that hurricanes ravaged our state, your workday averaged 12-16 hours, day after day, until the crisis points had passed. We applaud your dedication and loyalty to the citizens of our city and to our state. Thank you. |
