| Congratulations to Chris
McGraw City benefits from years of experience… In June 2002, Chris McGraw achieved the Certified Internal Auditor designation. Chris is in her 17th year of employment with the City of Titusville. She started in 1985 as a clerk typist in the Fleet Maintenance division, then went to Finance in 1986 as an Account Clerk. In 1988, Chris transferred to the Marina and remained there until 1994 as a senior account clerk. While working full time at the marina, Chris went to college at night. She graduated from BCC in 1988 then from UCF in 1994. After graduating, Chris returned to Finance as an Accountant and was promoted to Internal Auditor in 1997. |

| Born in New York, Chris moved to Titusville with her family
in 1964. In 1972, Chris and her family moved to Las Vegas where she lived for thirteen
years before returning to Titusville in 1985. “My father worked for TWA, and my
parents were adventuresome, and being a child/teenager, I went where they went,”
Chris explains. When her parents retired and returned to Titusville in 1984, Chris soon
realized that she wanted to live near her family. In addition to her parents, Chris has
two brothers and an Aunt living in Florida. She, therefore, decided to make the move back
to Titusville and, as she says, “… the rest is City of Titusville history.” Chris considers her three greatest life achievements thus far to be; her marriage, graduating from college and achieving the CIA designation. She refers to her employment with the City of Titusville as the constant throughout her adult life, and states that she has been fortunate to have had several opportunities for advancement and professional growth. |
