Congratulations to Cocynthia Mack and Becky Efkovics…. the payroll team for the City of Titusville!

Have you ever wondered how your paycheck magically appears every week? It appears thanks to the hard work and dedication of Becky Efkovics, Human Resources Specialist and CoCynthia Mack, Payroll Specialist.

Becky Efkovics has been an employee of the City of Titusville for fourteen years. Starting out in the Water Reclamation Department as the Inventory Control Clerk she climbed her way up the ranks to her current position in Human Resources.

Becky was born in Easley, South Carolina (which explains her charm and patience) and grew up in good ‘ole Titusville, graduating from Titusville High School (we won’t tell you when) and attending Brevard Community College. She has a lot of pride in her family and states that "Meeting my husband and step-daughters, having my son and having a wonderful relationship with my mother" are her greatest achievements in life. Becky has a few hobbies that keep her relaxed such as reading, watching Lifetime movies and watching her son play baseball.

When asked to describe her employment with the City of Titusville, Becky says, "It is a pleasure to work with the payroll process and in Human Resources. I have learned so much in the time I have worked at the City and look forward to learning more. I enjoy working with the employees, especially my partner in payroll – CoCynthina Mack".

And what is she most proud of?? "Being able to successfully juggle my job, family and keep everyone moderately happy."

Cocynthia Mack (a.k.a. "Co" around the office) has been an employee of the City of Titusville for over eleven years! Starting out in the Code Enforcement Department as a Temporary Code Enforcement Secretary, she climbed up to the permanent (lucky for us!) Payroll Specialist.

She was born and grew up in South Carolina (that explains why she and Becky work so well together!), graduated from St. George High School and went on to attend the University of South Carolina.

Cocynthia has a number of children involved in her life. Ranging from ages 1-19, she has a daughter, 7 godchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew. She has a number of hobbies such as singing, computer graphics, sleeping and eating. (You know you are a busy lady when sleeping and eating are hobbies!)

When asked to describe her employment with the City of Titusville, Cocynthia states, "It is Great, exciting and adventurous. I thank God for bringing me this far and it is truly a blessing in knowing him. I enjoy making the City of Titusville employees happy every two weeks in producing their paychecks. My position, job duties and the employees are my first and foremost priority. I also enjoy the work relationship that Becky and I have as payroll buddies." She goes on to say, "Graduating from high school and college, becoming a State of Florida Notary Public, converting two payroll modules for the City of Titusville and being a team player every place she worked" are her greatest achievements in life.

And what is she most proud of?? "Being a Christian because this how I endure patience. Also being able to spend valuable time with my lovely husband, family and godchildren."
